Cookie policy
Few cookies, and none for analytics.
What this site stores in your browser and how to change it.
Strictly necessary
One item in your browser’s local storage (engross_consent) records your cookie choice so we do not ask again; it holds no personal data and expires after 12 months. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie when it protects the site from abuse. No consent is needed for these.
Analytics — no cookies
We use Plausible Analytics, which counts visits and pages without cookies, without fingerprinting and without storing IP addresses. It cannot recognise you across sites or visits, which is why it does not need your consent.
First-party campaign notes
To know which page or campaign led to a form or a booked call we keep a first-party record in local storage (eg_visitor_id, eg_attr_first, eg_attr_last, eg_touchpoints): landing URL, referrer and UTM parameters. Click identifiers such as gclid or fbclid, and advertising cookies such as _fbp, are included in that record unless you choose Necessary only in the cookie preferences — then we drop them and stop sending them with the enquiry.
Advertising — only with your consent
If you choose Accept all, we load tags from the platforms we advertise on. They set cookies to measure whether our ads led you here and may show you Engross ads on those platforms. Nothing loads until you consent; choosing Necessary only, or sending a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser, keeps them off.
| Provider | Purpose | Typical cookies | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google (Ads, Tag Manager) | Campaign measurement, remarketing | _gcl_au, _gac_*, IDE, test_cookie | 90 days – 13 months |
| Meta (Facebook, Instagram) | Campaign measurement, remarketing | _fbp, fr | 90 days |
| Campaign measurement, remarketing | li_sugr, bcookie, lidc, UserMatchHistory | 1 day – 1 year |
Cookie names and lifetimes are set by the providers and may change; their own policies govern their use of the data.
Other ways to control cookies
Your browser lets you block or delete cookies for any site. Google, Meta and LinkedIn also offer ad-preference controls in your account settings. Blocking advertising cookies does not affect anything on this site.
